The internet in Australia

Happy birthday to Ean, who just turned 19 years old on the 17 of September.
May God bless you (and hopefully me) richly and all the best in your studies bro.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm sure you all know the internet here is super awesome fast. Well, I must say, it's very true...

But....

They have quotas for the internet access. For my house's internet services, Peak period or from 10AM-2AM the quota is 20GB, and non peak period or from 2AM-10AM , the quota is 40GB.

Something for me to ponder...

I shouldn't have complained about Streamyx...

I'm having a ball

Well yesterday (Saturday) was Zion Praise Harvest 10th Anniversary Grace Ball. It was a rather formal event, just like every other balls. We are required or perhaps told to dress formally for the event. Well it started around 7pm-ish, and the ball was held at Perth Convention Centre.

There were a few performances by the ZPH-arvesters. We started the ball with one praise song and then it was dance performances, singing, well you know the usual ball stuffs. Anyways, I enjoyed my 2nd ball because of the flow of wine and champagne. After 5-6 glasses of Houghton White wine and 2 glasses of champagne, I still felt wonderful the next day. Well, during the event we had table games whereby each people at each table plays a game and the winner is eligible to win 3 amazing prizes. The 3rd prize is a GPS system, 2nd prize is a FREAKING Wii!!!, the grand prize for the night was a plasma slim tv. The whole event ended around 11pm-ish and it was the couple's turn to do their thing at the dance floor.

Took some photos of the event, so enjoy the photos....

Behold, the Murdoch Zone of Zion Praise Harvest-ers.

I was finding the toilet, and guess what, the sign points to the wall, so I thought I'd take a leak there only to get caught by Alan with his camera.

Then we had the lucky draw session.

Here's me with my number, being very confident that I will win the Wii.

By the way, the number is 35.

Here's me after they announced the 3 lucky winners.

Feeling dejected, I went to the stand to collect the prize I supposedly won during the game.

and guess what I got?

I won a Philips Craig and Dean album!?!?!

How cool is that?!?!?

Well, better than nothing right?

So yeah, I mentioned earlier there were alcohol in the ball. So there I was, being told to wear the tie on my head and flash a bottle of beer, so I happily obliged my friend, and this is what we came up...
For your information, I wasn't drunk =)

The rest of the photos are taken after the desserts.

That's me and Alphonsus. Then someone came and took another shot with us.

I don't know who is that. =)

Alan and I.

Alright, Lordson, you wanted to know how Pastor Philip Lynn's daughter look like right? Here's a photo of me with Frances Lynn. So Lordson, what say you?

Frances Lynn and I.

Here are some random photos I haven't posted during my outing at Freo.

That's me with 3 lovely skewer mussels.

Alan, Sherman and I.

Trust me, the ground was so nice to sleep on and the weather was sooo fine. What's Alfred doing???
Similar shot but camera was on the ground. Wicked...

Candid.

A day at Freo

Well, friends back in Malaysia, here you go. The long waited pictures of....

*drum roll*

Caine the famous monkey clown!!!

We had Fish & Chips for lunch during our trip to Freo. The portion was big , but not as big as before. The last time I went for Fish & Chips it was huge!

After that, a few of us went Mc D's for ice cream. After buying the ice- cream, we headed to the beach which is just around the corner happily munching on our ice-cream and cam whoring =)

That's Alan and I enjoying our ice- cream.

Ya Ta!!!! We finished our ice cream

The whole group.

After that, we headed to Fremantle Market, but before that we made a pit stop to Boost for some Boost. While the others went for Gelatino or was it gelato? oh well....

Then we proceed to the Market...

The vegetables and fruits are FRESH and CHEAP.

Well that's all folks. I shall take my leave with one last picture

Cheers mate =)

What's up with me down under?

Hello everyone,

Firstly, I want to wish my mom a very happy super belated birthday. God bless you so much and I love you lots. By the way, her birthday was last week, August 29th. Last Sunday was Father's day, so Happy belated Father's day to you too dad. You've done so much for me, don't know how to repay them all back to you. God bless and love you lots too.

I know I haven't been updating myself on the blog. Just a quick update here..

Well, right now I'm having a one week break before the exam next week. I am still trying to push myself to hit the books and not the computer games, but somehow laziness took over. Anyways,

  • Went down Fremantle last saturday for Fish & Chips with a bunch of friends and then headed to the beach for some cam whoring. Maybe for guys we should call it Cam gigolo-ing. Anyways, we walked around Freo most of the day before heading home.
  • This saturday is Zion Praise Harvest 10 year anniversary ball. I will be going without a date, well not that I'm desperate for one though. IF I did went with a date, Suzanne will whoop my ass nicely.
  • Today the Gray's invited me over for dinnner, and had some talk about networking or something like that. Not really interested though.
  • Started playing indoor soccer with a new group of friends I met. We play every Friday evening and man those guys are good (and some are rough though).
  • I also found out Pastor Philip Lynn's daughter Frances Lynn also worships at Zion Praise Harvest and Pastor Philip also frequently speaks at Zion too. How COOL is that?!?
  • My head is stuck with one song right now, Hillsong's latest song , Break Free.
  • Spring has officially started. So it's time to say goodbye to winter and hello to warm weather and goodbye to HOT weather (coming back during summer)

So, I guess that's pretty much it for now. I can't wait to finish my course and come home. Missing everyone, especially Suzanne and last but not least my family.

Till then, Cheers everyone and God bless.
