How going to Shoots felt like

I had my first shoot experience yesterday (nope, not with guns but with cameras). I had the joy to see how production is like in real life and I only have one word to describe the situation there- hectic hectic and hectic. Gosh, I can't believe I chose this career, though I kinda enjoyed how the people work. My purpose there was basically to observed how production company works, apart from these observations.

I also had a few observations of my own, if you are thinking about girls, then yes you are right! I observed the girls/ladies/aunties who are working in that field. Gosh, some of them are pretty (my standards of course), but what turned me off was their smoking. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE PRETTY GIRLS I SAW smoked, a total turn off. I guess this shows how stressful these career can be. Hopefully I won't turn out to be one of them smokers.

As I was saying, hectic lifestyle... I had to wake up at 6AM, reach the office by 7AM, went to 3 different locations for shooting. The first was in an office at Jalan Ampang. The shoot was 2 hours behind schedule and we had to rush to the 2nd location- A school at Sentul. It was nearly lunch time, while the crew did the shoot, I helped myself to the simple but tasty lunch. Oh yeah, this is one thing I enjoyed about shooting, I get free food, free drinks, free chair, free shade, free fan, free R&R. FREE FREE FREE.

However, by the time they finished the shoot at the 2nd location, I had to go home, so when the driver dropped some of the staffs to the last location, he then send one of Naga's worker and I back to Kelana Jaya. By the time I was home, I was so tired that during futsal session, I injured my right knee and my eyes. Oh well.....

Today's the 2nd day of the shoot but I didn't want to go because got church to attend, plus I was damn lazy to go during sundays. Maybe next time.

Tomorrow will be the 3rd day for the commercial shoot. Maybe I'm going, hopefully not. HAHAHA

Roti Canai Shrinking

Roti canai getting smaller

PETALING JAYA: Following the painful raids against traders who overprice their food and drinks, most restaurants are sticking to their regular prices.

The difference, however, is that some restaurants may be dishing out smaller-sized roti canai as well as diluted Nescafe or Milo drinks.

Contrary to earlier complaints by restaurant operators that they would lose out following the government move to increase the price of flour, a random survey by The Star found that they would actually make a hefty profit if the price of roti canai goes up by 10sen a piece.

A 25kg sack of flour now cost RM32.15, up from RM28.40. Each sack is able to produce about 300 pieces of roti canai.

Original Kayu Nasi Kandar proprietor Buruhan Mohamad said that by increasing the price by 10sen apiece, the sellers could reap huge profits.

“Some are able to make up to 350 pieces of roti canai per sack.

“This means that the profit per sack can go up by RM35, which is more than the price of the sack of flour itself,” he said.

Commenting on the price of Nescafe, which went up on Friday, Buruhan said some restaurants were likely to reduce the content in each glass. The price of Milo will go up next month.

According to a distributor, a 6kg carton of Nescafe supplied to restaurants now costs RM333.60. The old price was RM314.40.

Buruhan said that to counter this, some restaurant proprietors might reduce the Nescafe and Milo content when mixing drinks.

Sourced from The Star Online

Gosh, if this is the case, it would be pretty much pointless going to mamaks ordering roti canai and milo. You're paying nothing for nothing. How sad can these people be?

My first tagged?

She tagged me!? She tagged me!?!

Tagged: My favourite food

It's difficult to say which is my favourite food, because I eat almost anything, be logical, when I say anything, I meant anything edible. Who knows some idiots might say, "wah, anything, so shit also eat ah". Those phrases are so damn lame. Anyways, I would say my favourite food would be...

1. BBQ Plaza

This is so far the best for me. The juicy tender pork, beef and bacon on the specially designed BBQ pot,pan (whatever you call that thing) served with specially imported sauce from Thailand. So far BBQ plaza can be located at 1 Utama, Bandar Utama and Sunway Pyramid. You have the Supreme Set and Family set and their green tea and chinese tea are free flow. The price is also reasonable. Just recently, Suzanne and I had our lunch at BBQ plaza, 1 Utama, I'm pretty sure the waiter and waitress recognized us already.
Don't forget the soup! It might be slightly difficult to scoop the soup into the bowl, but believe me after BBQ-ing the meats, their juices drops into the soup (hence the specially made pot, pan).
Add in the cabbage and you have yourself a delicious soup.

2. Fried Kuey Tiao

Come on, who wouldn't like Fried Kuey Tiao? This is Malaysia people!?!?! I usually order mine large with extra cockles or "si ham" in chinese ( though they are garbage eaters of the sea). This picture was taking during a breakfast with my relatives at Ipoh, the tasty Fried Kuey Tiao with Ipoh White Coffee, one word, superb!!!

3. Chocolate Fondue

I'm not really a chocolate fan, people who offered me chocolates always find it weird that I don't like them. So let me make myself clear here, I don't HATE chocolate, just that I don't fancy most chocolate that's all. I do eat them once in a while. However, Chocolate fondue is simply heavenly.
There was this restaurant called Fondue House that served Chocolate Fondue, but now.... it's closed down, no idea why. They serve you fruits with liquid chocolate. All you need to do is dip the fruits in the chocolate and feel it explode inside your mouth. I not sure how sex feels like but I guess the feeling is as good as sex. Hmmmm

yeah, I'm having an orgasm

I'm sure I've got much more food to offer such as

Satay, Bak Kut Teh, Chicken Rice, Ipoh Nga Choy Kai (Ipoh chicken tauge), Cendol, ABC (Air Batu Campur ) or Ice Kacang, and many more.

Hence my freaky weight of 76KG!!!!

I love food and I'm that darn heavy! Oh well...

I am gonna tag...

1) Lordson
2) Jaslyn
3) Ming Lynn
4) and you who are reading it

Lina no Joy

Poor Lina, her appeal to change her religion has once again been denied. Where is freedom of religion? We call ourselves a democratic country yet people like Lina is bounded by the laws of religion. Although man has won this case, God will still have something in His sleeves, I'm sure something good will come out of Lina Joy. In the eyes of man, she may have lost, but in the eyes of God she is already a winner.

I had my medical check up today, and glad I got it over with. Want the details?

Left house at 8:30am, reached KL Central at approximately 9:35am, took cab to Tung Shin Hospital at 9:45-9:50am. Decided to walk to clinic which took us approximately 30 minutes. Had X-ray exam at another clinic before heading back to Chong Clinic for check up. Gave them a "brands essense" of urine for analysis. Realised I weighed at a whooping 76KG. Decided then to lose weight no matter what!
had BBQ plaza at 1Utama (there goes another KG), head home.

That's how I spent my day, awesome isn't it?
